Coalition Quote Card English APAC: Coalition Quote Card English APAC.
Coalition Quote Card English APAC.

The partner group chat wrote a better line. It was not your line.

A coalition without a quote card will improvise. Improvisation becomes a second promise.

Coalition quote card English APAC is one sentence a partner can forward: the object, the proof, the boundary.

Street-smart APAC English: short sentences a tired operator can say out loud.

This is operator language, not a joint legal agreement. Counsel locks the live claim. The card stops the Tuesday rewrite.

It cousins our coalition joint statement English APAC piece. The statement is the long text. The card is the line partners forward.

What goes on the card?

Three lines. Not a manifesto.

Line Job Say this (illustrative)
Object Name the fight in the partner’s words “We want the flood-control contracts posted.”
Proof One checkable fact “The list the department already filed is public.”
Boundary What partners may not add “Do not quote a peso total we have not published.”
Kill this Why partners rewrite it Say this instead
“We stand in solidarity” No object to forward Name the contract list
Four proof points The group chat picks the hottest one One proof on the card
A donate link in the quote Turns a shared line into a pitch Quote first. Ask on your own page.
Different numbers by partner Becomes the story One figure, one source, locked
Coalition Quote Card card: Write the object in one line, add one proof a stranger can check, add the may-not-add line.
Say this: Write the object in one line, add one proof a stranger can check, add the may-not-add line.

How do you send it?

One card. Same file to every partner. Time-stamped.

Quote card (illustrative):
Forward this: “We want the flood-control contracts posted. The filed list is already public.”
May not add: a peso total, a named official’s motive, a second bill.
If a reporter asks for more: send them to the named desk, do not invent.

Kill rule: if two partners would need two versions, the card is not ready.

Why APAC coalitions lose the line

Translation. A Filipino forward and an English forward that do not match become two claims. Lock the English sentence, then the local line, same facts.

Screenshots. The card will be photographed. Write it so the photo is still true.

Credit. If the card says “we” and a partner says “I”, the boundary failed. “We” means the named coalition, or name the org.

Who owns the coalition quote card English APAC line?

One desk. Named on the card. Not a rotating chair.

The owner writes the line, logs the proof source and answers partner questions. Partners can suggest edits to the owner. They do not ship their own version while the edit is pending.

Kill this, say this panel: habits crossed out, replaced by write the object in one line, add one proof a stranger can check, add the may-not-add line.
Kill this: the habit lines.

If the coalition has no single desk, it has no card. Fix the desk first.

How do you update the card when the facts move?

New fact, new card. Date and time on every version.

Send the new card to every partner at once, with one line on top: what changed. Not a paragraph of context.

Ask partners to stop forwarding the old card. A stale card in a group chat is still a live claim.

Keep a simple log: version, time, what changed, who sent it. When a reporter asks why two partners said two things, the log answers in one line.

What does a clean partner forward look like?

Illustrative:

Partner post: “We want the flood-control contracts posted. The filed list is already public. Details from the coalition desk.”
Not this: “Shocking! They are hiding it! Share before they delete it!”

Flat illustration, APAC street map with three marked stops: Write the object in one line, add one proof a stranger can check, add the may-not-add line.
Desk note: Add the may-not-add line.

The first one is the card, forwarded clean. The second one is a new claim with your coalition’s name on it.

What if a reporter calls a partner directly?

They will. The card already says what to do: send them to the named desk.

Give partners one sentence for that call: “The coalition desk has the details. Here is the contact.” Then the desk’s name and number, not a personal mobile.

Partners can say the card line on the record. Anything past the card goes to the desk. That keeps one voice on the facts and stops a partner from guessing at a number under pressure.

What about graphics?

Photo cards carry the same line, word for word, as the text card. No extra headline on the image.

If a partner designs its own graphic, the quote stays verbatim and the proof line stays on it. The colours are theirs. The words are the coalition’s.

Monday field kit

  1. Write the object in one line.
  2. Add one proof a stranger can check.
  3. Add the may-not-add line.
  4. Send one file. Not a thread of options.
  5. If a partner rewrites it, reply with the card, not a new sentence.

FAQs

What is coalition quote card English APAC?

It is the one sentence partners can forward, with the proof and the boundary on the same card.

Can a partner localise the tone?

Tone, yes. Facts, no. Numbers, names and the ask stay locked.

Where does the donate ask go?

Not on the card. The card is the quote. The ask lives on your page.

What if a partner already posted a different line?

Send the card privately, not in a public correction thread. Ask them to edit, or to add the card line in a reply. If their line made a factual claim you cannot stand behind, flag it to the coalition desk and counsel the same day.

What to do this week

Open the last partner forward in the group chat. If it adds a number you did not publish, send the card before the next briefing.

Neuwark Communications writes coalition language under Public Affairs and Strategy & Messaging. If partners are still inventing the line, talk to us at Contact. More language companions live in Insights.

Communications craft, not legal advice. Coalition agreements, attribution and any claim about a named official go to counsel before the card ships.
