Heat Advisory Announcement line English APAC, Manila: Water, shade, the help desk.
Water.

It is past noon at the plaza. The program runs long, the crowd stands in full sun, and the MC says “stay hydrated, everyone!”

Nobody knows where the water is. An older guest sits down on the kerb, and nobody knows where help is.

Heat advisory announcement English APAC is the short line read to a crowd on a hot day: where the water is, where the shade is and where the help desk is.

Street-smart APAC English: short sentences a tired operator can say out loud.

It uses the same one-voice, one-card habit as our queue update announcement English APAC. If the organiser moves the event because of weather, the rain delay notice English APAC takes over.

What goes in a heat advisory announcement English APAC?

Three places. Water, shade, the help desk.

Heat advisory announcement (illustrative):
“It is hot today. Free water is at the table by the stage.”
“Shade and seats are under the tent on your left.”
“Feeling unwell, or someone near you is? Go to the help desk by the main gate, or raise your hand for a marshal.”

Name places. Point people to help.

Why no health tips in the announcement?

The comms desk is not the medical team, and a tip from the PA can be wrong for the person hearing it. Point to the help desk. Trained people there decide what someone needs.

When should you make the announcement?

Before the hottest part of the program, then at each break. Keep it calm: alarm words make people rush. Send the same three places to the group chat, so the PA and the phones match.

How does this play out in PH and SG?

Same three places. Different heat.
